My research interests include community ecology, macroecology, behavioural ecology and human dimensions of wildlife. Heretofore
I focused on factors governing large herbivore coexistence, wildlife-livestock interactions, herbivore-plant interactions
and human-carnivore conflicts. The research for my PhD will involve a mechanistic understanding of the spatial heterogeneity
in large herbivore diversity in the western Indian Trans-Himalaya. Apart from scientific research I help local communities
in conserving snow leopard and its prey species.
